The categories contain lists of URLs grouped by topic, which you can use in the WebGUI to block or allow access to websites. These are supplemented by manually definable blacklists and whitelists.
This provides you with an easy-to-use solution for filtering or sharing content by topic and tailoring it to your specific needs. For example, you can block all search engines and allow only the one you want.
You can create filter profiles that allow you to assign these rules to individual users or groups and apply them on a time-based schedule using break filters, or define exceptions.

Let OctoGate perform a content analysis of visited websites and filter them based on a list of bad words: You can define a threshold and create a list of “offensive” words, assigning each a value from 1 to 9.
