Recycling
Discarded OctoGate devices can be returned to us. Parts and components that are still functional and intact are removed and refurbished for reuse within our company. The remaining parts are sent to a local recycling company.
Avoiding hazardous substances
We do not use any toxic components in the manufacture of our products that contain substances such as mercury, lead, and flame retardants and are classified as hazardous.
Durability
Thanks to high-quality building materials and a rigorous manufacturing process, our hardware is built to last. With regular updates, we ensure that our products remain up to date on the software side as well.
Work-Life-Balance
At OctoGate, sustainability also means caring for our employees. To help our employees maintain a healthy work-life balance and stay physically fit, we offer massages and have a partnership with a gym. We also make sure there’s plenty of fun—whether it’s social barbecues, adventurous trips to the racetrack, or cozy mulled wine evenings in the winter.

A ripe banana on hot summer days or a sweet mandarin during the cold season. To ensure our employees get the vitamins they need throughout the day, we provide fresh fruit for them to enjoy at no cost. The pantry is well-stocked with cold drinks, and the aroma of delicious hot beverages from our fully automatic coffee machine wafts from the break room—free of charge, of course.
